WHY WORK HERE?

The practitioners at Fort Langley Massage Therapy & Holistic Health answer this question in the video below. We also explore other questions such as:

- What if I'm a new graduate?
- What's the owner like?
- What about the space and amenities in the clinic?
- What it is like working in Fort Langley?

We are a group of compassionate and knowledgeable therapists committed to treating each individual as unique and whole. We educate, treat and inspire our clients with the belief that each body has self healing capacities, and we are here to help facilitate that process. We strive to humbly offer a non-judgemental and inclusive space for each to be authentically themselves.

We are proud to contribute to our Community of Fort Langley and beyond by easing strain, injury, stress and trauma. Our clinic offers a soothing and relaxing atmosphere, a place for our clients to pause, breathe, and relax. We believe this supports our clients in integrating their sessions/treatments, and as practitioners we love working in this environment. Fort Langley offers nature, trails, coffee shops, shopping and community. This offers an environment for our clients to extend their time of relaxation, and offers us as practitioners an environment to unwind and feel supported.

We are Motivated by a passion to live out our own purpose. Many of us have been involved in the process of healing our own bodies, and this motivates us to help others. We are continually rewarded and inspired by watching the positive results in others on their healing journeys. As practitioners we empower one another's sense of well-being, as well as the well being of our clients.  We each take responsibility to engage with continuing education in our own respective fields.

Our Business model is that of each practitioner renting space for a set amount of hours per week. The amount of hours is negotiated in the agreement before you start, and then that time is yours to work as you wish. This makes it your own business to run, which means you accept payments from your clients. I run the umbrella business, Fort Langley Massage & Holistic Health, offering a clean and comfortable clinic with washer and dryer, front desk and laptop, phone, wifi, shared underground parking, same floor washrooms, lunchroom with fridge and microwave. We use Janeapp. It’s up to you if you want to join in on this for a small fee or use your own booking. I recommend joining, as the inflow of RMT bookings is very good and this is to your advantage.

We all join in on group responsibilities such as laundry, taking messages, and answering the phone. We book 15 minutes extra between appointments to offer turnover time and time for these responsibilities. Advertising is stated in the contract as your own responsibility, and we also send out a regular newsletter, that along with articles, we promote new practitioners and or new services. As practitioners we all support and help each other.

Our clinic is well established with long time roots in our community.
