Yoga with Sydnee Russell, RYT200

“Saying you’re too inflexible for yoga is like saying you’re too dirty to take a shower”

Have you ever wanted to try yoga, but felt too intimidated to take a class?

Maybe you mustered up the courage and couldn’t understand half of the “yoga talk”.

Or maybe you’ve tried an online class and just had no idea if you were doing it right.

In Sydnee’s two and a half years teaching yoga, six years as a RMT and more than a decade practicing yoga, she has met a lot of people who have been interested in yoga, but these reasons, among others, kept them from giving it a go. Yoga can seem very intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. Yoga is not about twisting your body into complicated poses or walking on your hands, yoga is about being kind to your body. Yoga can be as simple as taking time to breathe.

It’s about finding the balance between strength and flexibility, to prevent injuries and maintain good health. Yoga is for EVERY body.

If you’ve ever thought about trying yoga, why not give it a go in a relaxed, non judgmental environment with a plan that is personalized for you? In private yoga we start with a consultation to get the whole picture - your day to day activities, fitness level, stress level and past injuries. With Sydnee’s background as a RMT she will use her knowledge of the body to find the root cause of chronic pain, then create a plan to stretch what needs to be stretched and strengthen what needs to be strengthened. Through this rebalancing of the body you will learn how breathe deeper, release tension and engage the proper muscles to live and move with ease.
